  • Risky Business News – Newsletter companion to the Risky Business podcast. Concise, well-sourced reporting.
  • Krebs on Security – Brian Krebs’ investigative reporting on cybercrime - often deep dives you won’t find anywhere else.
  • This Week in 4n6 – Weekly roundup of digital forensics and incident response news.
  • Daniel Miessler’s Blog – Thoughtful essays on security, technology, and society from a veteran practitioner - also one of the inspirations for starting this blog.

Podcasts

  • Darknet Diaries – Excellent storytelling and production quality.
  • CISO Series – Security leadership discussions with real CISOs. Great for understanding the business side of security.
  • Risky Business – Weekly infosec news and analysis, daily briefings and ‘snake oil’ episodes where vendors showcase their products.
  • Security Weekly News – Entertaining round-up of the weekly news.
  • Unsupervised Learning – Daniel Miessler’s podcast covering security, AI, and technology trends. Though it now has a heavy AI focus, which I’m not enjoying as much.
  • CyberWire Daily – Quick daily briefing on cybersecurity news.
  • Smashing Security – Cybersecurity news with a lighter tone. Informative and entertaining.
  • Black Hills InfoSec – Webcasts and content from one of a respected and amazing team.
