Who I Am

After failing to make a living as a photographer, I pivoted toward a career in IT and cybersecurity — a natural step, as I’ve always been drawn to technology. The journey has been both rewarding and challenging.

Certifications

Over the past five years, I’ve earned several industry certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ – foundational IT knowledge
  • Cisco CyberOps Associate – SOC operations and security monitoring
  • CCNA – routing, switching, and network fundamentals
  • CISSP – security architecture, risk management, and governance
  • OSCP (in progress) – hands-on offensive security and penetration testing

What I Do

My career spans roles across IT support, GRC, information security and pentesting. I’ve worked in environments ranging from small businesses to large enterprises, and I bring a builder’s mindset to security – understanding the infrastructure makes me better at defending it.

Current focus areas:

  • Penetration testing and offensive security
  • AI and social engineering
  • Homelab experimentation and continuous learning
